Quality Assurance Techniques for Design & Construction Documents

This program was offered at UC Davis on October 25, 2011 and UC Irvine on November 9, 2011.  The training focused on how a coordinated document review program can save campus’ project funds and help with a better project flow (potentially fewer change orders and RFIs.)  Mike Miguel from RediCheck, who has trained UC staff on this system, covered typical coordination blunders and how to integrate a QA system into your projects.  There was a panel at each event of campus staff and outside consultants.  They discussed pitfalls and best practices of both managing outside consultants or having it done in-house.
