Course evaluation rubrics

The subject-specific evaluation rubrics are used by our subject area analysts to determine the acceptability of a course for “a-g” approval. These rubrics incorporate the subject area course criteria established by the UC faculty and highlight the subject-specific content, skills and habits of mind that should be evident in a course's submitted unit descriptions and/or key assignments.

We recommend using this tool when preparing a new course for submission or when working on a course resubmission.

The subject-specific evaluation guidelines will be available beginning with the 2016-17 submission period opening on February 1, 2016.
